Tabletop gaming is about to get a whole lot sexier. A new original DropoutTV series titled “The Wicked Nothing” is an actual play ttrpg erotica starring Brennan Lee Mulligan (Dimension 20) and Matthew Mercer (Critical Role, The Legend of Vox Machina). This may be seen as a game changer from the typical improv comedy style content coming from Dropout, but one that has received huge online support.

Following the propulsion of a Variety interview earlier this year, the internet has been an echo chamber of the same question: What's the next collaboration for these two TTRPG powerhouses? The answer has come seven months later with news of a new erotica series by the studio Dropout. 

Erotic marketing has spread like wildfire over the past year. Smutty content as a form of promotion has become the new norm with huge productions House of the Dragon and The Hunger Games sending lead actors to star in Quinn (an audio erotica app) productions. Matt Smith has been the latest notable actor to take the erotic pivot starring in 'The Wolf', a drama set in a centuries-old villa as Smith plays private investigator with a growing attraction to his client. Dropout seems to now be taking on this trend and pushing it a step further with actual play erotica!

While the stars have made no public announcements yet, the team at Dropout stated that both stars will be creating their own characters and working with a team of well-known game masters on the overarching story. With both Mulligan and Mercer having a long history of GM’ing and playing as a wide range of flirtatious characters in previous non-erotic-focused campaigns, there is no doubt from the fans that they'll pull off an incredible show.
